The Future Tense
To express actions that will happen in the future using imperfective verbs, you typically form it using the future tense forms of бити ('to be') and the infinitive of the main verb.
- Future forms of 'бити': ћу, ћеш, ће, ћемо, ћете, ће (short forms, most common) or хоћу, хоћеш, хоће, хоћемо, хоћете, хоће (long forms).
- Formation: Future 'бити' form + Infinitive of main verb
- Examples: Ја ћу читати књигу (I will read a book). Ти ћеш говорити с њим (You will talk with him). Она ће радити сутра (She will work tomorrow). Ми ћемо писати (We will write). Они ће гледати филм (They will watch a film).
